Autobiography:

Cheryl Van Demark, PT, MA, C-IAYT has practiced physical therapy for over thirty years; skillfully and compassionately serving her patients to optimize movement and improve the human experience. She received both her physical therapy training and her master’s degree in physical education at Northern Arizona University. In 2014, she completed the University of Arizona’s Integrative Health and Lifestyle Education Program (IHELP). She is a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain and the American Physical Therapy Association.

Cheryl has been certified as a Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She is a faculty member in the Integrative Yoga Therapy Program at the renowned Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Massachusetts. Cheryl is also a yoga teacher registered at the E-RYT500 level with the Yoga Alliance. She offers public yoga classes through Lotus Bloom Yoga Studio in Prescott and provides retreat experiences in contemplative practices for health professionals, yoga teachers and women via her business, Vidya Yoga Retreats.
