Damon Grandy, Clinical Director, PT, DPT, COMT, CKPT is a fourth generation Arizona native from Buckeye, AZ. He attended Arizona State University, where he was also a member of the Track and Field Team and threw the shot-put and discus. Damon majored in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Medicine and graduated with his Bachelors degree in 2003.
He worked for several years following his time at ASU as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and Athletic Trainer. He became interested in Physical Therapy after suffering a large number of orthopedic sports injuries himself from football, wresting, track and field, and weight lifting. He then attended Physical Therapy school at Southwest Baptist University in Missouri and graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009.
Damon is also a Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner, and he gets excellent results from using Kinesio Tape as a treatment option for a variety of sports and orthopedic injuries. He recently finished a 10 month long advanced credentialing certification program, and is now a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist.
In his free time, Damon and his wife enjoy traveling, hunting, camping, hiking, riding ATVs and church activities.
